How long, honestly.

A median is a point on a clock that has not stopped. The honest answer is the band with its coverage — and, where a number was withdrawn, why.

What this omits

A median over 73,897 terminations is not this matter's date. No court is ranked or coloured by this number — the duration ruling forbids it — and the docketed-to-disposition clock starts after everything that happened below.

A position on a clock is not a prediction: the acquisition rule says what this console holds, not what the court will do.

Excluding pending cases biases the number downward at a rate that varies by district and case type, and because that exclusion rate itself moves, it manufactured an apparent speed-up we could not reproduce. We withdrew it rather than restate it, and the district ranking that depended on it is withdrawn with it.

Time to resolution is not a column of the district table: the withdrawn figure had a denominator — terminated cases only — which is exactly why it was withdrawn. These clocks are never combined into a single number. Each is measured over its own registry with its own denominator, so a blended figure would carry whichever denominator the quoter happened to pick.

Reduced motion · what stays, what stops

The same rack, still

Under prefers-reduced-motion the object keeps its single lit frame at the first-paint shot, the steps become a plain list at full ink, and the scrub, the parallax and the count-up stop. Nothing is removed.

What it cannot prove

It does not prove the survivorship gap figure — the app withholds it today and so does this page; the hero is the one served duration distribution. It does not prove p95 frame time on hardware Metal: the evidence run is SwiftShader. It does not prove the light-field shader (the two-gradient fallback paints here). It does not prove per-circuit p50/p90: only the low and high of the twelve admitted circuit medians are served, and no circuit is named. Nothing here is a predicted outcome, and no venue is ranked by speed.
